Mikheil Skhiereli
Mikheil Skhiereli

Mr. Skhiereli is a professional with more than 20 years of experience of working in the public and private sectors, as well as international organizations. Through his career to date, he has accumulated an invaluable understanding in the fields related to investments, and international relations, good governance, innovation and investment policy, as well as in the workings of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Some of the positions he held before joining PMC Research’s team include leading programs to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Georgia while working at Tbilisi Entrepreneurship Support Centre, and acting as Head of the Staff Office of the European Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia. He has also worked in projects initiated by esteemed international organizations, such as USAID, German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the European Commission.

Mr. Skhiereli holds a master’s degree in technology governance, innovation policy and development economics from Tallinn University of Technology, and a master’s degree in economics from Tbilisi State University. He is also the co-author of two books, “Tax Systems of Foreign States” and “What We Should Know about Taxes”.
