Trainings in Financial Accounting for the Winner of Rural Development Grant Competition in Khulo Municipality

On 28-29 January, trainings in financial accounting were provided to winners of the first Rural Development (RD) grant competition held in Khulo municipality. The aim of the trainings was to enhance beneficiaries’ knowledge of business accounting management.

At this two-day training, 20 beneficiaries were given opportunity to discuss the following topics related to business accounting management: income tax benefits in highland Georgia, highland enterprise status and property, invoices, delivery-acceptance acts and how to fill declaration forms.

By the end of the trainings, attendees had learned how to send and receive invoices through the website of the Revenue Service of Georgia (RS.ge) as well as how to fill out monthly and annual financial declarations.

This particular project is being implemented by Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia (CCRG) in partnership with PMC Research and the Croatian Rural Development Network, with financial support from the European Union under the European Neighborhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Georgia (ENPARD II).
